Our pavilion was designed and built in 2005 by a group of architecture students from Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning as their final project. It features reclaimed wood from a local barn and limestone pavers donated by a quarry in South Central Indiana. The stained glass work in the pavilion was done by Connie Annen, and the cross by blacksmith and ironworks artist Richard Zellers. Both were members of the church at the time.
It was envisioned as an outdoor worship and gathering place and has served us beautifully in this way. During the summer months, we hold monthly outdoor services in its shade.
The pavilion is open to the community. Please feel free to sit and chat with friends, or spend time for meditation and reflection.
