Grace Village February Update
Hello friends, Spring Semester 2025 has been off to a cold start, in regards to temperature; but the food and fellowship has remained warm at Grace Village.
In campus ministry, the beginning of every new semester can feel like building a new congregation. Class and work schedules change, some students leave for internships or student teaching, and you never quite know who’s going to show up for that first God & Grub or that first chapel worship service. Thankfully, we have found a bit of a “sweet spot” for God & Grub at 5pm on Mondays. We may lose a student here and there at the beginning of each semester, but by and large we maintain a critical mass that provides an honest, intentional, caring community. Community has been the name of the game this semester, the students have shown up to support each other in big ways and I could not be more thankful to watch them live out the Gospel in the ways that they care for one another.
And it goes without saying, the students are able to model community for one another because they see the ways in which our supporting churches model community for us. The meals you provide, the food you donate to Wild Card, your financial gifts, your presence, and your prayers are all examples of your witness to the Gospel that the students see and in turn emulate.
Thank you for the ways in which you support this ministry, you are a blessing to us.
