Sherry - I have begun making blankets to donate to ARK (Acts of Random Kindness).  ARK provides  small, individual  shelters for those who find themselves with no where to sleep on the cold nights of winter. Pam helped me secure funding from Thrivent and I will be holding  a blanket making session  at the church on Saturday, January 11th. I will provide all of the supplies and fabrics. If you have a sewing machine that is easily transported I would love for you to bring it! We will need machine stitchers, knot tyers, fabric cutters, designers etc. I bet we have a task that is perfect for you! I will be ready to go at 10am and will sew until... I will proved some drinks and snacks and look forward to working with each of you!

I appreciate all of the help you can give.  If you can spare one hour or five, you will make a difference to someone in need.
